C'era una volta...
Il mercato di Jesolo, affollato, festoso, con la presenza di molti ambulanti che esibivano la loro merce nei crocevia delle strade e nelle piazze assolate, tra gli anni 40 e 60 si estendeva su una vasta area che comprendeva via N. Sauro, via Pascoli, piazza della Repubblica e piazzetta del Partigiano. In via C. Battisti, dopo la demolizione dell’officina Pellegrini alla fine della Seconda guerra mondiale, si trovava un distaccamento del mercato del venerdì. Oggi il mercato si trova nella grande piazza Kennedy ed è una meta molto frequentata anche dai turisti durante l’estate.
Once upon a time...
Jesolo’s crowded, festive market, with the presence of many hawkers displaying their wares at the crossroads of streets and in sunny squares, between the 1940s and 1960s stretched over a large area that included N. Sauro Street, Pascoli Street, Piazza della Repubblica and Piazzetta del Partigiano. In Via C. Battisti, after the demolition of the Pellegrini workshop at the end of World War II, there was a detachment of the Friday market. Today the market is located in the large Kennedy Square and is also a popular destination for tourists during the summer.
Es war einmal…
Der Markt in Jesolo, überfüllt, festlich, mit vielen Händlern, die ihre Waren an den Kreuzungen der Straßen und auf den sonnigen Plätzen anboten, erstreckte sich zwischen den 1940er und 1960er Jahren über ein großes Gebiet, das die Via N. Sauro, die Via Pascoli, die Piazza della Repubblica und die Piazzetta del Partigiano umfasste. In der Via C. Battisti befand sich nach dem Abriss der Pellegrini-Werkstatt am Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs eine Abteilung des Freitagsmarktes. Heute befindet sich der Markt auf der großen Piazza Kennedy und ist im Sommer auch ein beliebtes Ziel für Touristen.
