Cycle paths | September landscapes: the magic of Via Cristo Re

September is the month of colours, of places that change perspective day after day. And some areas acquire new magic and charm with the passing of the season. Just like the Venice lagoon, which is one of the Jesolo gems that can be reached by bicycle. The route starts from the Municipality of Jesolo, from via Sant’Antonio and via Parco Rimembranza. This is the city centre. From there, turn left towards via Cristo Re. It marks the beginning of a new world, surrounded by silence broken by the sound of the water of the Sile river and the sound of nature in an oasis of peace. Along the dirt road, you can admire the river course on the left and the enchanting Venetian lagoon on the right. The landscapes worth being caught with a mobile phone or a good camera are many, starting with Chiesa del Cristo dei Salsi (1951) and Palazzo di Ca’ Marcello. Via Cristo Re continues to the nearby Cavallino-Treporti and stops along Canale Casson. You can return to Jesolo by taking the bridge that divides the two towns. Along the route, you can admire the native flora and fauna. These are the flagships of a territory that, from this point of view, offers glimpses often poorly known. And, precisely for this reason, not to be missed.
