Concert for violin and strings
The Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Passarella di Sotto will host a big concert on the evening of Sunday, August 13, 2023. Vivalidi’s Four Seasons, the composer and violinist’s best-known cycle of compositions, will be staged by the Giacomo Facco Orchestra. The esemble, named in honor of the 1676 Paduan instrumentalist, is one of the best known in the area and is composed of top professionals. Professor Luca Dalsass will lead the orchestra, which brings together musicians already established nationally and internationally, conservatory professors and first parts in well-known instrumental companies. The concert begins at 9 p.m. and admission is completely free; a not-to-be-missed evening to retrace the cycle of the four seasons, one of the earliest examples of descriptive music in history.
