“IN JESOLO A JALISSE
TRIBÙ”
With their song “ Fiumi di parole”( Rivers of
words) they made dream all lovers when winning
in San Remo in 1997. The musical duo “Jalisse”
is compounded by the couple Fabio Ricci and
Alessandra Drusian; recently they have been in
Jesolo where they often make holidays. We have
met them at the “Corte dei Baroni”.

Yours is a long career, rich of success. Which is
the message you have always wanted to convey?
First of all consistency, in our artistic and private
life: being a family we travel on the same track to
carry on our belief together.

Your music embraces a great extent of public:
from young to less young...
It is true and it gives us great satisfaction. At the
same time we are also our own producers. So we
can decide what to produce and it is easier to get
in contact with a vast public.

What is the thing you are most proud of ?
When we received a letter from the President of
the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, for a song we
made. That means to be transversal. In Catania
we have a “Jalisse Tribù” with forteen year olds.
These “tribù” (fan club) exist in many Italian
towns, from north to the south.

It still lacks in Jesolo! What do you think about
creating one also here?
That is a very good idea. To be honest we are
enthusiastic hearing about the proposal of our
friend Vittorio Dorigo to open one in the restau-
rant “La Corte dei Baroni”. A tribù is nothing else
than a group of persons who like each other and
want to share nice moments and love for music
and speak together about beauty and hope.

This historic moment has cancelled many big
events. What are your future projects?
Fortunately something begins to move and we
hope to start with some dates during the summer.
Recently we have been in Sassuolo, where one of
our songs will be the soundtrack of a film. A good
sign of a new start.

Do you often come to Jesolo. What do you mostly
like in this town?
The Hotel “Germania” run by Tania Menazza,
a mythical and volcanic woman. When we are
in Jesolo this is the place where we go because
of its family atmosphere. We often travel around,
changing many hotels, but for us it is such a nice
thing to find a place, away from home, with such
family atmosphere.
