Summer festivals in Piazza Manzoni don’t stop, and there is something for every taste. On Tuesday 15 August, the cheerful and colourful stalls of Mercatini Sotto le Stelle will welcome visitors, while a musical evening in swing jazz and gypsy style with Aglio, Olio & Swing and their repertoire of classic Italian songs from the 20s to the 50s is scheduled for Thursday 17 August. On Tuesday 22 August, the stalls will return with the best handicraft items and gadgets. On Thursday 24 August, the evening will be dedicated to violence against women with “L’amore vince sulla violenza verso le donne”, while Mercatini Sotto le Stelle will be held on Tuesday 29 August. On Thursday 31 August, the month ends with the concert of Frittura Mista, and the Markets will be back on Tuesday 5 September. The events, organized by the Manzoni beach resort, will start at 9 pm.
