Working for the protection of the area
Jesolo and Eraclea together for the protection of the Laguna del Mort. The mayors of the two Municipalities recently held a meeting, agreeing the methods for implementing the measures discussed in recent months for the management of the area, considered an area with a high landscape and naturalistic value. The area was protected in the Natura 2000 network and subject to attention at a regional level within the Life Redune project. The desire of all those involved is to make the Laguna del Mort increasingly usable and to protect its natural life, thus preventing and combating any violations both for indecent behaviour and for rubbish disposal, they also wish to combat illegal constructions. Surveillance activities are planned and will continue until the end of September.
