The workation destination
While technology has revolutionised our lives, often totalling our existence from work to private life, new trends have emerged: one in particular is called workation, a neologism combining the English equivalents of the words ‘work’ and ‘holiday’ Workation consists of doing one’s work remotely from a holiday destination while enjoying the comforts and relaxation of a holiday without sacrificing professional productivity. An opportunity that, thanks to technology, has resulted in the fusion of work and holiday environments.
