Glasses filled with ricotta and figs | Anna’s sweets

Summer is almost over, and figs are its last gift. Sweet, juicy and colourful … it would be a shame not to use them to prepare a delicious dessert. This recipe that satisfies both the mouth and the eyes, does not even require the use of the oven, so there is no excuse!
Ingredients for 10 glasses:
150 g amaretto biscuits 600 g ricotta 250 g fresh cream 90 g powdered sugar 1 vanilla bean 10 fresh figs Fruit jelly
Preparation:
To prepare the base of the dessert, crumble coarsely the amaretti biscuits at the bottom of the glasses. For the cream, whisk the ricotta with half the powdered sugar and whip the cream with the remaining sugar and the seeds of the vanilla pod. Gently mix the whipped cream into the ricotta mixture, until you get a smooth and soft cream. Fill the glasses with the cream up to three quarters of their capacity, with the help of a piping bag or two spoons. Eventually, garnish the glasses with fresh figs cut into wedges. For a delicious version, add some chocolate chips or walnuts to the ricotta cream for a perfect match!
