Service available every day
Professional nursing services, on an ongoing basis, every day from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm. This is the novelty, in the field of safety policy along the beach, announced by Jesolo Turismo s.p.a. after the signature of the agreement on the management of the first-aid points located on the beach. The service has already started in the sheds situated from Piazza Aurora to Piazza Milano and in the other points located in the Faro and Pineta areas. Globally, there are six first-aid points: Faro area as well as Piazza Aurora, Piazza Brescia, Piazza Marconi, Piazza Milano and Pineta (near Merville). The general subject’s health will be assessed, and direct intervention of nurses, in compliance with the professional profile of the staff present, will be provided, together with health and hygienic-environmental information. In addition to the employment of medical and nursing personnel with longer working hours over the previous years and also continuously during the lunch break, the novelty includes the direct connection with the Provincial Operational Centre of Venice (COP) in order to reduce cardiac arrest rescue times: the station, in fact, will be informed of the presence of nursing stations on the coast, all equipped with a portable defibrillator.
