Theatre reading in Cortellazzo
The next October 9th marks the 60th anniversary of the Vajont tragedy. Friday, September 8th, in the square of the Bersagliere in Cortellazzo, at 8.45pm, is scheduled a theater reading by Marica Rampazzo and Filippo Tognazzo with music by Nereo Fiori. The protagonist of the evening will also be the book “Sulla Pelle Viva. Come si costruisce una catastrofe. Il caso del Vajont”, written by journalist Tina Merlin. On the one hand, two small mountain communities, Erto and Casso, are struggling to resist unaltered; on the other, the most ambitious hydroelectric project of the Sade. In the middle, the Belluno chronicler Merlin, determined and stubborn, who works to investigate, understand, tell the story of two towns, first upset and then destroyed by an avoidable catastrophe.
