It will be an evening not to be missed on Wednesday 28 June, at 9 pm, in Piazza Aurora. On stage will be the Giovane Orchestra Metropolitana, conducted by maestro Pierluigi Piran, ready to perform a repertoire that promises to be enthralling, exciting, and of great appeal to the public. The group brings together young musicians from a wide basin of the Venetian territory. The ensemble includes classes of instruments such as strings (violins and cellos), wind instruments (transverse flutes, clarinets, trumpets, trombones, saxophones), percussion instruments and pianos, guitars and electric guitars. The evening’s programme includes pieces such as “Tango pour Claude” by Richard Galliano, “Adiós Nonino” by Astor Piazzolla, “Medley” from the Disney film “Up” by Michael Giacchino, “Once Upon a Time in America” and “Mission” by Ennio Morricone, “Innuendo” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen, Medley from the Disney film “Aladdin” (Alan Menken) and Medley from the Disney film “The Lion King” (Hans Zimmer).
