One of the many successful operations, thanks to both the professionalism of the doctors and the cutting-edge equipment, is the case of Thiago (picture), a beautiful almost two-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier who arrived in the clinic as an emergency. After an evening walk, he could not stop sneezing: with the suspicion of a foreign body inside the nostril, a nose examination was carried out, which showed a wild rye, a grass spike very dangerous for dogs, which grow especially in this time of year. Following general anaesthesia with the application of local anaesthetic, the spike was totally extracted with specific forceps. In a few minutes, Thiago recovered and was already able to walk independently. CVCT mentions this case among its great successes, one of the many examples of how the clinic knows how to manage even delicate operations such as those involving the muzzle in a streamlined and timely manner.
