Interview with the mayor of Jesolo

This summer will be a synonym for relaunch and renewal. Christofer De Zotti, the new mayor of Jesolo, inaugurates a summer that it’s off to a good start. Mayor De Zotti, this summer has started off on the right foot. What’s your opinion? This is the first almost normal season after two years of pandemic, during which the city has fortunately held up well. In this regard, I would like to thank all the people who have trusted our city by visiting us and spending their holidays with us. What are the expectations for this summer? Finally, great events will be back, such as the Frecce Tricolori, fireworks and popular shows. We are still the place that we all know. What will tourists find in Jesolo? Jesolo has always been characterised by high-quality services at accommodation facilities and stores as well as on the beach. And much more. Meaning what? Jesolo is in constant development and oriented towards the future: environment, sustainability and cycle paths. These are key factors. Henceforth, the enhancement of the territory will play a strategic aspect. What advice would you give those guests who visit Jesolo for the first time? Don’t focus only on beach, but explore also the main streets and the numerous attractions, not to mention the Lagoon, Cortellazzo, our countryside and Jesolo Paese. They are important alternatives to the sun and the sea. What are your wishes for the entrepreneurs who continue to keep the city profile high? I hope that they will be able to work again with serenity. I wish everyone could continue to believe in this city, because we want to start a renewal process with the new administration and a new vision of Jesolo in the next few years.
