Jesolo dancers Claudia Villanova and Alberto Gerotto are the new vice national champions in standard dances. Fresh from four gold medals obtained at the AICS Sports Dance Grand Prix in Jesolo, they literally flew up to the second step of the podium in Massa Carrara, where the Italian Championship organised by Fids was held, a truly challenging contest in which 67 other couples from all over Italy participated. A moment of great technical and athletic growth for the two dancers followed by Studio Passione Danza of Mogliano Veneto. The couple managed to win second place in the five dances: Waltz, Slow Fox, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quick Step, honouring the great tradition of Veneto dance and demonstrating that it is never too late to realise one’s dreams.
