Cristina D’Avena is the star of the 2022 edition of Lungomare delle Stelle. The city has decided to dedicate a stretch of her promenade to the queen of cartoon theme songs (also actress and presenter.) The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday 7 July in Piazza Milano. After the famous appearance at Zecchino d’Oro in 1968 with the famous song Il valzer del moscerino, Cristina D’Avena’s career started in 1982, exactly 40 years ago, thanks to a TV show called Bim Bum Bam. This show was an unprecedented success aimed at children, teenagers and families. Lungomare delle Stelle is an event established in Jesolo in 2001 upon request of Amorino De Zotti. Each year, a stretch of the promenade is officially named after a protagonist from the world of entertainment, music, cinema, television, science and sport. As happens with the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in addition to the name, the artists leave their handprints that then are collected in a permanent exhibition. The event was inaugurated by no less than Alberto Sordi. Among the other artists, it is worth mentioning Andrea Bocelli, Sophia Loren, Mike Bongiorno, Katia Ricciarelli, i Pooh and Alessandro Del Piero.
