A challenge beyond one’s limits
One of the most exciting sporting events ever returns to Jesolo on Sunday 9 October. We are talking about Ironman 70.3 Venice – Jesolo, a competition coveted by athletes from all over the world. Participants will compete in 1.9 km of open water swimming, 90 km of cycling and 21.1 km of running in the Jesolo hinterland: a challenge that pushes the limits of physical and mental endurance. The event was originally scheduled for 25 September but was moved due to the Italian elections. The event takes place over a gruelling course surrounded by nature and the beauty of the area. Whoever achieves the best time will win. In addition to Jesolo, two other locations will also be involved. Cavallino-Treporti, in fact, will host for the second year the 10 km bike course in the section of Via Pordelio, in the lagoon scenario where the longest cantilevered track on water in Europe is located. Eraclea, on the other hand, will feature a route of around 40 km and the involvement of several hamlets. In short, an experience aimed at all sports lovers and all those who love to challenge their limits, physical and mental, to learn to understand and overcome them.
