Cartoon characters will be the protagonists of this edition of Griglie Roventi, the famous barbecue competition scheduled for Saturday 23 July in Piazza Torino. One hundred workstations have been equipped for couples of non-professional chefs who will compete to become the king of the barbecue. Provided with every tool necessary to tame meat and fire, the grillers will compete for an hour, armed with forks and high spirits. Journalists, experts, chefs and opinion leaders will judge the dishes, including the presentation and the mix of aromas and flavours. Moreover, the creativity and friendliness of the participants will also be taken into consideration; the aspiring chefs will immediately earn a bonus of ten points if they comply with the dress code of the cartoon-themed evening.
