“AIUTACI AD AIUTARE – Farmaci per il Kenya”

Kicking off in Jesolo’s Dr. Zorzetto International Pharmacy is the collection of donations and medicines to help the Ol Moran mission in Kenya of Parrocchia San Giovanni Battista

The first edition of the pro-Kenya Drug and Donation Collection organized by Dr. Giuseppe Zorzetto’s Jesolo International Pharmacy together with St. John the Baptist Parish in Jesolo town starts this week.

The goal is to collect medicines and funds to be donated to Ol Moran, the parish in central Kenya founded in 1997 by the Diocese of Patriarchate of Venice, where the Jesolo boys led by Fr. Francesco Andrighetti will travel in September precisely to bring concrete support to an ideal “waterfront of the world.”

There is a need for antipyretics, analgesics, anti-inflammatories, antimalarials, but also simple plasters, bandages, gauze, disinfectants and much more: everyone can donate at the Pharmacy.

You can choose to buy drugs or medical devices (with a special 15% discount) and leave them at the checkout with pharmacists who will collect them in a special basket, or you can donate the cash equivalent in the piggy bank in the Pharmacy.

The medicines and donations collected will thus support the most urgent projects of Ol Moran Mission, there where there is the greatest need to help those who do not have the means to care for themselves.

“We adhered with great conviction and enthusiasm to this initiative of the Parish,” explains the owner of the International Pharmacy, Giuseppe Zorzetto, “which goes well with our role as pharmacists as sentinels of the needs of the most fragile, especially those who are thousands of miles away in difficult conditions. I invite everyone to come and visit us at the pharmacy to make a small big gesture of solidarity with us.”
